Ghar-e-Thawr (غارِ ثور)

Ghar-e-Thawr or Cave of Thawr is located at the top of Jabal Al-Thawr which is found at the lower part of Misfalah district of Makkah. It is famous in Islamic literature and history because Prophet Muhammad sym-9 and companion Abu Bakr sym-8 stayed their while migrating from Makkah to Madinah and hid themselves from enemies. Both of these great personalities stayed there for 3 days and nights. It is discussed in Quran as well and Allah made the spider weave a web at the cave’s entrance to misguide the enemies.
